A curve laid anew, its radius changed or made compound, or a straight moved: the paths of the chain are cut again where their joints stood, set square onto the new line, each keeping its stretch of the ground, so their events, their track circuits and the cuts of the block sections stay where they were instead of being handed on along the line; the parts between the switches alike, the old even sharing kept where the joints don't follow one another along the new line.
The objects by a track taken for a change go with it by themselves: the signals and the warning discs it or its run reads, the SHP resonators by their events, and the controls of the block sections, the hectometre posts, the W17 markers and the other signs by the track nearest to them, within 12 m. They move square to the new axis keeping their offset and their turn, an object moved by hand meanwhile staying where it was put. Such a binding isn't kept in the scenery nor shown among the bound objects of the infra tool, which can still bind the object for good, and the undo and the redo take the objects back and forth with the tracks. The status of the Plan tells how many objects moved with the tracks. A path taking an object over the other way round keeps it on its side, turned as it was.
A track laid on from a free end in the PKP PLK laying, by a drag out of the end, by clicks from it or laid back onto it, starts from the curvature and the cant the end has. An arc turning the same way as the end is a compound curve: a transition of the norms ramps the curvature and the cant from the one arc into the other. From a straight the arc gets its entry transition, the arc then straight its exit one. Where the way is too short the transitions are cut and the cant lowered to what they ramp, and the readout says so; with no room at all the track is laid as before and the note says why. The curves traced on the orthophoto and the recommended values of a compound curve get the transitions between their arcs too. The free laying stays as it was.
The reverse curves of a join start and end at the joined ends, with the
largest radius that fits, so a shift of the track spacing (4 -> 4.75 m
over 400 m) is one S instead of two curves with straights around them.
A straight or a single arc with a kink at its ends, though still under
the joints check, comes after the smooth curves among the variants; a
practically exact one stays first.
An element under 1 mm, like the straight left between the reverse
curves by the radius fit, no longer drops out of the pieces and leaves
a gap: the neighbouring piece takes it over.

- roads: the notes and errors naming a road translated; the build options and the layout fold the texture length,
kerb sizes, traffic share, roundabout part, height over the ground and junction speed limit under More settings, the

Grade lines fitted to the terrain model (NMT), a line or the whole scenery at once:
- fit_ground: a robust fit on nodes 5 m apart; the ground parting from the line (a bridge, a viaduct, a wall) is gone
past rather than followed, the bends keep off the switches as far as their curves reach, a run of bends the same way
is one point of intersection, a curve with no room is as sharp as the room lets it be
- the ends of the line and the other paths of its switches leading into lines fitted already bound the line by what
the tracks between can climb; ends meeting in the plan, laid apart in height by hand, are joined before the run
- apply_profile: the paths are split where split_path takes the parameter (a straight was cut in the wrong place, into
pieces of a few centimetres the game takes for zero length), no piece shorter than the margin; the paths off the
ends of the route are brought to its height
- Bytom: 1600 lines, grade breaks at the joints 89 -> 20; Tarnowskie Gory: 848 lines, 223 -> 3; no step over 2 cm
- the join of two free ends (a drag from one onto the other, or a click of the lay tool on it) tries in turn: a straight when the joints check can't see the kinks (half its angle), one circular arc through both ends (a piece cut out of a curve comes back as it was, its cant kept), a curve with straights where the tangents meet, a reverse curve, and only then a free Bezier curve; a curve turning more than it needs to, sharper than 10 m or longer than three chords is never taken
- the transition curves eased out of a curved neighbour only when there's room for them between the ends, never crossing each other into a loop
- cant and transition curves recommended for the radius the curve really gets, at the speed of the joined track or of the tool and never above what the radius allows; the circular arc keeps at least max(20 m, 0.4 V) between the transitions, the cant lowered to what the shortened transitions can ramp, transitions under 1 m left out
- shapes from a free end: arc then straight, straight then arc, arc through the cursor, straight; Ctrl+wheel steps the radius, Shift+wheel the shape (at a free end: the other joins), the plain wheel still zooms; a click of the lay tool from a free end lays the shape and goes on from its end
- self-test commands join, layto and joints; Polish translation
