Event.cpp

feat(scenery): models laid along curves (sweep nodes), bent to follow the paths or repeated along them, loaded and saved with the scenery; trainsets put on a path while the simulation runs; trainset turned around by reversed after its header: the first vehicle stays at the offset and leads towards point 1, the rest stands behind it; launcher keeps reversed trainsets and can turn one around; memory cells saved with the new name of the path they name; events tell their targets and the events of a multiple event; renderer tells whether the cursor is over a surface; vehicle placed in the editor entered when the driving goes on

GaugeLine.cpp

refactor(track): the rail code is split by concern into gauge lines, crossings and check rails, rail materials, rail profile measuring, planning the cuts and laying the geometry, instead of one TrackRails.cpp; rail_offset reuses nearest_distance and lateral; TTrack::rail_dimensions measures the profile through track_rails::measure_rail

GaugeLine.h

refactor(track): the rail code is split by concern into gauge lines, crossings and check rails, rail materials, rail profile measuring, planning the cuts and laying the geometry, instead of one TrackRails.cpp; rail_offset reuses nearest_distance and lateral; TTrack::rail_dimensions measures the profile through track_rails::measure_rail

2026-10-14 09:24:52 +02:00

Knots.h

refactor(track): a lofted rail span is described by one loft_span value instead of twenty arguments, and the knot line helpers (sample, bound, meetings, middle, shifted) live once in world/Knots.h instead of in lambdas of the segment and of lay_rail

RailCrossings.cpp

refactor(track): the crossings of the rails are found in steps, the tracks nearby, the meeting of two rails with its refined place and the crossing made of it, and the crossings of the neighbours mapped on this track, and the check rails are planned, merged, kept clear of blocks and cut in separate functions instead of two long functions; path_count and path_neighbour replace the repeated choice of the paths and the ends of a switch or a plain track

2026-10-14 09:52:19 +02:00

RailLayer.cpp

refactor(track): the cap of a lofted rail end takes its texture from cap_texture and its triangles from ear_clip instead of computing both inside cap_loft

2026-10-14 09:57:04 +02:00

RailLayout.h

refactor(track): the rail layout value types (crossings, sizes, check and guard rails, cuts, bands, fills, treads, layout) and the wheel and rail constants live in world/RailLayout.h in track_rails instead of inside TTrack

2026-10-14 09:21:19 +02:00

RailMaterials.cpp

refactor(track): the plates, fillers and check rails of a rail drawing are made from one box_profile and one helper for both sides, and the colour of a tread is sampled by sample_dds and sample_image into one colour_mean, a block of a DXT texture decoded by add_dxt_block, instead of one function

2026-10-14 09:55:24 +02:00

RailPlan.cpp

refactor(track): the rails are planned by the class TTrack::rail_planner instead of one function: each crossing is added by its kind (grooved, wide, acute, obtuse), the acute frog of a crossing and of a switch is one acute_frog and the vee of grooved rails one add_vee, the switch frog is described as a rail_crossing, the corners of crossings at a middle angle are kept as rail_crossing instead of a copy of its fields and framed by frame_guard, wide() takes the crossing and a wide_cut value instead of ten arguments, and the knots are sorted by knots::sort

RailProfile.cpp

refactor(track): the rail code is split by concern into gauge lines, crossings and check rails, rail materials, rail profile measuring, planning the cuts and laying the geometry, instead of one TrackRails.cpp; rail_offset reuses nearest_distance and lateral; TTrack::rail_dimensions measures the profile through track_rails::measure_rail

Road.cpp

feat(roads): lanes change within a road piece (lanesto), junctions of two roads from earlier sceneries are loaded as such pieces and saved as roads; the editor leads the lanes of neighbouring pieces with them

RoadOrder.h

feat(roads): right of way and lane turns at junctions, road weights, kerbs, medians and forking roads, banks to the ground, roundabouts, pedestrian crossings, spawn sets by count; fix(editor): model skin export, placement on the ground under the orthophoto

2026-10-04 01:55:35 +02:00

RoadPoint.cpp

Sweep.cpp

fix(sweep): local named near renamed, MSVC takes near for the empty macro of windows.h and fails on the syntax

Sweep.h

feat(editor): platform edge put 1.725, 1.675 or 1.650 m from the axis of the track as chosen, kept in the editor settings; models along a track set back by the gauge of the other path of each switch whose points their line passes, also when they stand by the plain track ahead of the switch or by its straight path, the widening led in from the tracks beyond the diverging path; the line beyond the ends of a sweep goes on along the straightest path
